Although tourism surpassed fishing as the village’s main industry many years ago there are still a few small boats operating from here.

Bigbury-on-sea
Bigbury-On-Sea is a very family beach with a large expanse of sand that extends at low tide to Burgh Island. There is a path up to the top of Burgh Island where there are fantastic views across South Devon. Facilities and parking are close to the beach. This is one of the most popular spots for kayaking and canoeing, exploring the rocks around Burgh Island.
